Belinda Kock, LPC, NCC, CT
Belinda is a Licensed Professional Counselor that resides to Tuscaloosa, Al. She earned her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Montevallo in Aug. 2016. She received her Certification of Thanatology from the Association for Death Education and Counseling the following year and in December of 2021, Belinda completed her Grief Counseling Studies through the Center for Loss & Life Transition with Dr. Alan Wolfelt in Fort Collins, Co.
Due to what she calls her “Forced Sabbath of 2020”, Belinda took some time off from traditional mental health counseling to focus on her grief education studies, take a few cross-country motorcycle trips, and meet some of the most amazing people that helped her learn to heal and rest. She also became a published author and released her 1st grief support journal titled “Becoming a Mindful Mourner”.
In 2023 Belinda tip-toed back into the Counseling field to finish her LPC. She spends her time facilitating grief groups in her local community, caring for grievers 1/1 as a grief counselor, and shares her passion for grief education through online and in person training. She is a national certified QPR suicide prevention trainer and provides Mental Health First Aid training, both in person and online, to people all over the country.
If Belinda is not spending time with her family or companioning someone through their grief journey, you can find her riding her big green Harley to visit Bucee’s all over the country or coaching a motorcycle safety class at her local Harley Davidson dealership.
Dr. Jane Coleman, LPC-S, NCC
Dr. Jane Coleman is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified counselor (NCC), and she is certified in Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders treatment. She is also Phase 1 Brain Spotting Trained. She is an adjunct instructor with the University of West Alabama’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s Program. She has 37 years of experience in counseling. She specializes in Substance Use Disorder Counseling, as well as, therapy for depression, anxiety, and trauma. Collaborate With Us
